Math for grades 5-8 at Burr Oak Schools is taught by one teacher: ME ! I am Mrs. Rifenburgh and I am honored to be the middle school math teacher.
I am a graduate of Bronson High School and attended Adrian College where I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree. A few years later, I attended Western Michigan University receiving a Master's Degree.
My teaching career began at St. Mary's Assumption School in Bronson where I taught for 12 years. I am now beginning my 25th year at Burr Oak and I am truly a Bobcat.
I live in Bronson with my husband, Carl, who is a retired teacher from Bronson. We have two grown children and 3 grandchildren. We have a dog named Clarice, 5 barn cats, and 2 horses: Zack and Eddie. I spend many of my weekends, Spring through Fall, at horse shows with Eddie.
I am excited to be starting a new school year and look forward to being able to provide my students with a variety of learning resources.
